2008 Global Conference on Educational Robotics
Call for Papers: Special Session on Research on Robotics in STEM Education
GCER is a unique conference which brings together researchers in both technology and education together with K-12 teachers and students. The conference is also host to the international Botball and Beyond Botball tournaments.
For the 2008 conference we are separating out the research track from the student and teacher paper tracks. The research track will go through a full paper peer review process. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and will be presented by the authors during the conference sessions. Authors will be required to grant copyright permission to KIPR in order for their paper to be published, however, authors will retain copyright to their work.
Papers are sought that describe new and original work in the areas of robotics related STEM education technology, pedagogy, assessment or methodology. Papers are limited to seven pages, including all figures and bibliography. Papers should be submitted through the GCER Paper Submission Site. Use the example paper as a formatting guide. LaTeX users should download the zip archive gcer-latex.
